This was a transformation of my own flat in Watlington. I was kindly given permission by the landlord to decorate and make it feel like home - the first time ever in a rented property! Although a beautiful flat, it was tired-looking when I moved in and needed freshening up. I painted most walls white, with the exception of a rich, dark green in the living room and a soft, blush pink in the bathroom. I undertook all the work myself, whilst also sewing my own curtains and soft furnishings, and sourcing objets of style to furnish it. See the images below for the final results!
Starting with the atmospheric living room - painted in Puddle Jumper by Valspar
I wanted to create an 'old Copenhagen' look in the bedroom, with touches of blue
The bathroom has a more feminine feel with pink Temple by Paint & Paper Library
I painted the kitchen white to help blend the metro tiles and give it a new, clean look
